The 2019 Nissan Murano is part of the third generation that's been around since 2015, but for the 2019 model year the crossover went through a well-deserved mid-cycle refresh. Some of the changes included an updated grille, new LED lighting designs, and more access to standard and optional advanced safety technologies so you have added peace of mind when you're driving through Clifton.

Top-trim shoppers will also love the new diamond-quilted leather seats that help the Murano stand a cut above the competition and really flex its style! Below we'll touch on the standard features, the safety, and the four great trim levels. By the time you've finished this page, you'll be able to drive in from Fruita and know which 2019 Nissan Murano you want to buy or lease.

Standard Equipment

Standard Equipment

Performance: all Murano trims come with a 3.5L V6 engine that has 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft torque. This powertrain and the engineering deliver a smooth ride that feels comfortable and refined! Towing is a bit lighter than some of the competition, but most Murano shoppers are after looks more than heavy-duty functionality, so we don't think that's a deal breaker. And if you do need towing you can always choose the massive Nissan Armada!

Infotainment: premium models don't mess around with technology, and the 2019 Murano has a standard 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.

Convenience Amenities: the Murano is a long vehicle, so you'll enjoy the standard backup camera when you need to park or reverse. It's also easier and faster to get in and going on the Montrose roads, and that's because of the standard Intelligent key® that's paired with a push-button start.

Safety: even the safest drivers can use a helping hand or bleeping alert, and you won't be disappointed with the Murano. Base-model shoppers get a few amenities, and the list only grows as you move up the trims. Check out the next section to learn more about the Murano's safety features.

Safety Features

Safety Features

The Murano isn't just focused on looks - the model also has safety on the brain. Starting on the outside, the Murano comes equipped with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. LED lights are often overlooked - especially when you consider some of the other advanced safety features - but being able to see easily at all light levels is your first line of defense.

When driving on the highway or in a busy city, you can get assistance from the blind spot monitoring and lane intervention. When you're backing out of parking space there's rear cross-traffic alert and rear automatic braking that can stop you from getting into a fender bender.

At higher speeds the Intelligent forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking can help you avoid a rear-ending accident, and for lower-speeds there's pedestrian detection that can prevent a bad situation.

Here's what else you can get on the Murano:

  • Around View® monitor
  • Rear and front parking sensor
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • High Beam Assist
  • Let us know what safety features you want, and we'll point you towards the right Murano trim.

    Trim Configurations

    Available Trims

The 2019 Nissan Murano comes in four trims: S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Even though our Murano inventory isn't huge, we're proud to carry all the trims.

S: the standard features we touched on in the earlier section are what you'll find on the Murano S, and you'll also have 18-inch wheels, Nissan's Drive-Assist Display in the digital cluster, and manual seating for the front-row passengers. The base even has standard Intelligent forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

SV: if you have a longer commute or do a lot of road tripping, we suggest moving up to the Murano SV. You'll get a 10-way power driver seat that also has 2-way lumbar support, and the passenger gets a power seat that can adjust up to 4-ways. The SUV tacks on blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert.

SL: the previous trims have some great amenities, but if you want to go a lot further the Murano SL trim ensures you're treated to features. On the outside there's LED fog lights and a motion activated liftgate to make loading cargo easier. You'll get more parking assistance in the from of front/rear park sensors and the Around View® monitor that makes parallel parking a non-issue. Long-distance travel is a lot less fatiguing in the SL, and that's thanks to the Intelligent cruise control that can self-adjust distance, plus the navigation ensures you don't get lost along the way. You can enjoy a playlist better with the Bose® speakers. And did we mention the heated front and rear seats that make Colorado winters a lot easier to get through?

Platinum: if you thought you had all on the SL, get ready for the Murano Platinum. This top trim has a stunning panoramic moonroof, ventilated front seats for the summer, and semi-aniline leather seating with diamond stitching for a luxe touch. You'll also get cherry-on-top safety features. There's high beam assist that others on the road will appreciate, pedestrian detection for when you're in the city or busy grocery store parking lot, Intelligent lane interventions, and rear automatic braking that goes along with the rear cross-traffic alert. Traffic sign recognition keeps you up to date on the speed limit, and that's especially useful on those long stretches where you go some time without seeing a sign.

As you can see, the 2019 Nissan Murano is a solid premium crossover that offers look, performance, and a great range of standard and available features. Stop into our dealership this week to test drive one from our new inventory! You can also shop our used selection for a Nissan Murano with extra competitive pricing.
