At last month's 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan introduced seven concept vehicles that honored the company's continued collaboration with Lucasfilm as well as now-released "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." The vehicles that were presented draw attention to the film's characters and spacecrafts, while also emphasizing the dramatic design ideas coming from Nissan.

The vehicle themes first were developed at the Lucasfilm offices, where their team came up with the designs, color guides, textures and graphics that were used to partner Nissan vehicles with either a character or a craft from the movie. Each concept vehicle was then given additional extra touches, such as hydro-dipped graphics, "aged" exteriors and surround sound speakers. After that, fabricators from Burbank's legendary Vehicle Effects were asked to bring the drawings to life.

Some of Nissan's best-selling models received the one-of-a-kind makeovers, including the Altima, Maxima, Rogue, Rogue Sport and TITAN. Unfortunately, the concept vehicles showcased at the LA Auto Show are not available for purchase.

In a press release, Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications & Media, Nissan North America, Inc., remarked, "We're back this year collaborating with Lucasfilm and the artists at Industrial Light & Magic to create these amazing concept vehicles across some of our best-selling models. These show vehicles were created for our fans, and will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show and shared across the country in regional auto shows over the next several months."
